Leucothoe

Easy to grow and excellent ground cover, these plants will provide colour from Autumn, into spring.
Leathery green to copper foliage in the summer followed by stunning claret purple/red tints in the winter. Many have white flowers during spring.
Dense, compact, bushy habit preferring a moist soil in partial shade. Good for winter containers.

Leucothoe ‘Curly Red’

Curly Red is a low growing evergreen shrub that is good as a ground cover.
It has glossy leaves, this plant has a unique curly red leaf when young and then turns red again during winter. Great winter colour.

Leucothoe ‘Carinella’

Small hardy evergreen shrub. Leaves start deep red in autumn and then turn a wonderful dark purple in winter.
Small white flowers in April/May.
