Agapanthus ‘Black Buddhist’

The Black Buddhist is one of the nicest of the modern Agapanthus. Large umbels of deep violet blue flowers and when the sun shines on the stems, they take on a deep purple black hue.
Strap shaped foliage forms clumps, great for containers as they quite like to be pot bound. Prefers dry soil in sun.

‘Black Pantha' is a clump-forming perennial with bright green, strap-like basal leaves and erect, black stems.
It
bears large umbels of tubular, dark blue black flowers in summer that are darker as they open.
