Heuchera

Heucheras are fully hardy perennials that are happiest in moist but fertile, well-drained soil. They are best in shade but some of the new introductions will tolerate full sun.
Their most striking feature is the coloured foliage ranging from deep purples to lime greens, many varieties with eye-catching coloured veins in the leaves.
Heucheras produce small flowers in May and June, often white or pink in colour.
Heuchera ‘Marmalade’

Hardy, rich, shiny, undulating foliage ranging in colour from umber to deep sienna with hot pink undersides.
Showy in all seasons and will tolerate well to inclement weather. Another bonus, this Heuchera will take full sun. White Flowers
Heuchera ‘Obsidian’

The darkest of all the new introductions. Striking new evergreen variety of Heuchera with glossy jet black-maroon leaves darkening as the season progresses.
Cream flowers appear in June-July
Heuchera ‘Plum Royale’

Heuchera ‘Plum Royale' is an interesting first in heucheras: it's the first variety to retain its intense purple colouring all summer.
In winter, the foliage is silver with purple tints but then in summer it develops the lovely rich colouring you see in the picture in spring and summer there are the flowers.
Purple stems carry the usual dainty little flowers in white tinged with pink, the perfect companion colour for the plum purple foliage.
